Publishing Team Responsibilities
Publishing Director
He/she is responsible for the institutional representation of the journal. As head of the publishing team, he/she decides on the appointment and dismissal of the directors and editors, as well as the members of the Advisory Board and the Scientific Committee. He/she is responsible for delegating tasks to individual team members and dictates the general guidelines and overall scope of the journal. Ultimately, he/she can also decide whether or not to publish a manuscript in the journal.
Journal Director and Editor-in-chief
He/she is appointed by the publishing director on the basis of his/her experience, dedication and ability. The director's duties include planning the content of the publication, providing guidelines to authors in terms of style and context, ensuring the accuracy of the content on the journal's website, assigning reviewers and ensuring that revisions and decisions in the process of preparing the different issues are carried out in accordance with the standards of the publication.
Deputy Director and Section Editor
Their role is to assist the director in defining the content and style of the journal, providing guidance on manuscript submission procedures and publication design. At the request of the journal director, he/she may also assign manuscripts to reviewers and oversee their proper reception, evaluation and acceptance.
Coordinator and Editor
He/she is responsible for the publishing process of the journal (from the reception of the original manuscripts to their subsequent proofreading, layout and final editing of the contents of the publication).
Advisory Board
Its members are appointed by the publishing director and, together with him/her, will determine the overall strategic direction of the journal. The members of the Advisory Board are international experts in technology, science and/or education and they provide the journal’s directors with relevant information that can improve the scientific quality of the journal. They may participate in the evaluation and selection of papers submitted to the journal.
Scientific Committee
Its purpose is to support the publishing editor and the director and editor-in-chief in the task of producing a relevant and high quality publication, reviewing manuscripts assigned by the editors and advising on the most appropriate publishing procedures for the journal.
