Abstract

This book focuses on information and communication technologies (ICT) and their use nowadays.

Today's society is characterized by immediacy, innovation, interactivity and immateriality that the fourth industrial revolution or the digital revolution brings with it. This era of technology incorporates ICT and aspects such as intelligent automation or hyperconnectivity in all areas of our life, including work and, consequently, education. Thus, we find that digital skills are becoming essential requirements in jobs, transforming those that already existed and generating new jobs as a result of society´s digitization.
Among the pages of this book, the different uses and applications of ICT, the associated tools and techniques, the correct use and the impact and current use of them will be addressed.

It is worth highlighting the usefulness of both ICT and the knowledge management that this manual manifests for the different areas of daily life.
